Ahh! Christmas is around the corner! Has anyone procrastinated on shopping? Or is it just me? (insert the monkey covering his eyes emoji) I'll admit, I do love giving gifts because it is so much fun to shop for others. However, gift-giving is not my love language. It doesn't come naturally and I am a terrible at coming up with good gifts! (I hope that makes sense! LOL) Is anyone else like this??
I have a question for y'all-- How do you exchange gifts with your families? I never realized how complicated of a matter this can be. Some families only give to the kids (18 and under). Others give to everyone. My sister-in-law Hannah told me that everyone gives to everyone in her family (and that's like 50 people). My family has always done everyone and then as all my cousins got older, we stopped giving gifts to each other... mostly because it was a giant money exchange since 18 year olds can be hard to shop for. I'm not even kidding. My aunt and uncle would give me and my brother money and my parents would give my cousins money. LOL. That's when we decided to do the White Elephant gift exchange with my extended family. That year was a ton of fun too because we decided skies the limit-- you could give a really weird gift (like a can of Spam) or something really good like money or whatever. (The Spam was stolen a few times. #filipinofamilyproblems haha!) This year, on my husband's side of the family, we are doing a Secret Santa. It has been a lot of fun trying to figure a good gift to give this person.
Speaking of gifts! I reached out to a few of my friends who have some pretty awesome shops and businesses. One thing I like to do is also shop from local shops and friends. Because, ya gotta help a sister out! #AmIright (By the way, unless noted with an asterisks*, these are not affiliate links nor are these sponsored-- I just want to share the love! :-) )
The Accidental Nomad
Kayla has some great products in her shop! Her devotional journals and printables are super cute. She also offers blogging goodies, such as a blog and branding packages. This would make such a great gift for any blogger friend! By the way, Kayla also has a Facebook group for those of you interested in branding and design. You can check Kayla's group out here.
Cozy Tea Treasures
These Tea Cozies from Rebekah are just adorable! We recently had a ladies tea at church and this would have made such a great gift for our hostess. I love the different patterns she has! I have recently been "introduced" to Rebekah and she is so sweet. I absolutely love listening to her podcast "Hargraves Home and Hearth." AND she's an author (#goals) and recently released her new book, Lies Moms Believe and How the Gospel Refutes Them*. You can find Rebekah here!
Daily Grace Co*
I've mentioned it before, and I'll mention it again-- Daily Grace Co is one of my go-to's for Bible Studies! I love the easy-to-use and understand devotionals! They are not only gorgeous, but Kristin and her team put a lot of thought into writing these devotionals. I am so excited for the newest one, Ruth, to come out early next year! She also has prayer journals, mugs, home decor, Bibles, prints, and more. Oh! And a great stocking stuffer are her highlighters! They don't bleed!! They are by far the best Bible highlighters I've had.

Sarahkate runs the cutest online boutique and I just love her style. She also sells Lipsense! Check out Paisley Kate Boutique and join her super fun VIP group! Sarahkate recently hosted an awesome Flash Sale which was so much fun! So y'alll need to go join her group!

Rope & Rose
My college friend Brittney is the amazing creator of these macrame wall hangings, accessories, and decor. And she has something for EVERYONE. She has paci-clips, plant hangings, wall decor, and more. I feel like Brittany's got this Joanna Gaines thing going on with her macrame. Go check Brittney out!
These journals made by Kevin and Erika Simpson are just GORGEOUS! I am such a big sucker for journals, notebooks, pens, and office accessories. Ever since I was a kid, I had some sort of notebook and that has carried on to adulthood. I love how these journals are hand-crafted and are made with love. They can even names or logos on to these journals which would make it such an awesome gift for someone.
There ya go! Eight awesome shops for you to shop from. I hope you check these ladies out! I know you'll definitely find a great Christmas gift for either a friend, sister or mom... or even yourself!
So TWO Questions today:
1) How do you exchange gifts in your family (and let me know how big your family is.)?
2) Do you have any favorite local shops or boutiques you frequent?
Let me know in the comments!
